| On a warm summer evening on September the 11th 2004 an invitation only audience awaits a special evening of music at the Red Barn Studios owned by Beach Boy and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, Al Jardine. The buzz tonight is in anticipation of the live performance from the new incarnation of "Hey Stevie!" Led by singer songwriter Stevie Heger, this fourth release by "Hey Stevie!" features new players from the Monterey bay area. All five musicians have been rehearsing for three months and are determined to simultaneously both perform and record thirteen original new songs for their first time in front of a live audience of more than one hundred lucky fans. Unlike artists that spend months and sometimes even years punching-in unprepared performances, we have someone who has worked hard to perfect and showcase his sound spontaneoulsy all the while supported by a highly talented group of backing musicians presented here in their very first live performance. The result is a product that was recorded absolutely live with no sweetening or additional overdubs. It's exactly what the audience heard that warm late-summer evening in 2004.
